You know, this is the first year that I noticed that DA's birthday is mine too.  I always thought it was the day before.  Well, happy 9th b-day DA and happy 22nd b-day to me!  Not so many milestones after 21 tho.  All downhill from here I guess.  :D jk, I'm only just getting ready for life!  For some reason I'm very contempletive this birthday.  I think it's because I am searching around for grad schools.  Real life is real.  I'm taking the GRE in a week.  Anyway, I'm so thankful for my friends everywhere: college, other colleges, ppl I met through cosplay...you mean a lot to me.  All of you. Wow, I can't believe its been almost a full year since I've updated a journal!  I guess I've been out of the costuming loop due to me being gone for so much of this summer.  But it is official: I will be at Comic Con 09!  I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday.  Still debating if I should drive or take the train...but I will be there.  I'll be cosplaying Suki in her warrior outfit on Saturday, which I should be working on right now.  The front of the armor is together, gotta get the back sewn up now.

So I'm late doing this.  Shut up.  I've come to the conclusion that life after a convention sucks.  I have to get re-adjusted to work and life.  :D  Anyway...here's my blah little con report thing. Thursday: Left home around 12:30ish.  And it took me 5 FREAKIN HOURS to get to San Diego.  There was apparently a huge accident on the 5...and by the time I got past that, I started hitting rush hour traffic.  I was actually really pissed/bummed that I didn't get to go to the TV costuming panel.  :(  At night, I was up until 2 trying to finish Suki...yah, didn't happen. Friday: OMG best day ever!  Even though Suki wasn't done, I wore it anyway.
